MEMBERSHIP Membership involvement is the key to a great post. Providing greater support to our veterans, our troops, and our community. Membership around the whole state of Texas is down. It’s our job at our post to do our part. Please renew your membership now. It is not the price to be a member, it was the sacrifice we made to have the right to be a member. So please take the step and pay soon. Come see us if you are having trouble with the price and we will work with you. Your membership is valuable to us. It is the backbone of any organization. Ours is no different.
Feb. 6 4 Chaplain’s Ceremony Our first Saturday in the February will start with a Four Chaplain’s Ceremony followed by brunch. This is a great ceremony. Please join us to honor these four heroes. The ceremony starts at 11:00am.
Feb. 13 Valentine’s Dinner, Dance & Auction Bring your appetite and your dancin’ shoes for a night of fun and auction excitement. You guys need to get your baking skills tuned up. Ya’ll know how impressed everyone is with your cakes for the auction. Other auction items include gifts for your sweetheart. Come out and support your Squadron. The fun starts at 5:00pm.
Feb. 27 Leadership School - Aux. After much planning, it has finally been decided that we will have a Leadership school at our post. On Sat, Feb 27, we will start at 9:30am with a 6th District Aux D.E.C meeting. At 10:45 am, the Leadership School presented by Marty Peters will begin. We will provide a light lunch & should be finished by 4:30pm. With Mary Peters teaching this class it should be lots of fun & very informative. This class is open to all members and should answer a lot of questions on how we run the Auxiliary.
